Tips: Why we use VFD for pumps?
Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) is becoming a unit to consider controlling motor, it allows you more control of your pumping application. On water supply it only pumps the required duty on demand and the benefit of this is that the pump does not run on max. It will run at slower rpm for smaller demand and run faster at higher demand. The pay back will vary from system to system (different capacities, like 1HP, 3HP, 5HP.... 500 HP, in different applications, on-demand & constant flow etc.).
